Grind your coffee before you go

Although you can easily grind your own coffee beans at home without a coffee grinder, it's just as quick and convenient to do so at Trader Joe's before heading to the checkout. The Instagram account @traderjoes.and.target.finds recently showcased this feature at their local Trader Joe's, noting that the store offers separate coffee grinders for regular caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee beans.
Not only does the aroma of freshly ground coffee provide a rich and enjoyable way to kickstart your day, but there's also a scientific explanation for why it tastes superior to pre-ground options. Coffee beans start to lose their flavor due to oxidation, which begins the moment they are ground and exposed to air. Once coffee oxidizes, it can become bitter as its flavor deteriorates. However, if you brew beans that have been ground recently, you can preserve and enjoy those complex flavors.
