Fish is more tender with an Instant Pot

Robert DiGregorio has truly established himself as a fish connoisseur. Each day, over two million pounds of seafood flow into the 400,000-square-foot Fulton Fish Market, making it the second largest fish market globally, right after Tokyo, as stated on its website. When preparing salmon, he prefers using an Instant Pot for several reasons: "[It's] quick, nutritious, and helps maintain moisture." He explains, "The pressurized setting cooks the fish evenly and gently, resulting in exceptionally tender and flaky salmon. Since we suggest using water, it's a healthier option compared to methods that involve oil."
For a well-rounded meal, you can also add some vegetables and/or potatoes at the bottom of the pot beneath the salmon on the rack. While you'll want to take the fish out after three minutes, let the veggies and potatoes cook for a few extra minutes. Even with these additional ingredients, dinner remains quick and easy, and you'll end up with a complete meal.
