Dehydrate eggs to use in all kinds of recipes

To dehydrate egg yolks, you first need to prepare cured egg yolks. This involves coating the yolks in a mixture of sugar and salt, then refrigerating them for three days to a week (they will become denser as time goes on). You can use the leftover egg whites to create delicious ham and feta egg white bites.
Once the curing process is complete, rinse the yolks gently with water to remove any excess salt and sugar before placing them in your air fryer. To dehydrate, either use the dehydrate setting on your appliance or set it to 150 degrees Fahrenheit for a couple of hours, until the yolks are firm and dry.
After successful dehydration, the cured egg yolks can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month. They are fantastic when grated and sprinkled over dishes like popcorn, pizza, or even as a flavorful enhancement for instant ramen. Keep in mind that not all air fryer models can operate at such low temperatures, but if yours can, there's no reason not to give these tasty treats a try!
